Solar Transport Improves Fuel Delivery Operations with Motorcity Systems

Motorcity Systems, an innovative software and integration solutions provider for trucking companies, announces that Des Moines, Iowa-based fuel hauler Solar Transport has chosen Motorcity’s TORQUE integration platform and real-time driver communications and visibility app, RELAY, to improve operational efficiency and the driver experience. 

TORQUE is a flexible, cloud-based integration platform that enables carriers to efficiently connect and scale their business systems as they grow and evolve. With TORQUE, Solar Transport has integrated operational data and workflows between its Transportation Management System (TMS), ELD telematics, workflow and RELAY dispatch-driver messaging application.

As part of the TORQUE deployment, Solar Transport’s driver hours-of-service duty status and vehicle telematics data from Samsara is integrated with its RELAY dispatch-driver messaging platform from Motorcity. The integration gives dispatchers better visibility of mission-critical operational, safety and compliance information.

Partnering with Motorcity Systems is part of Solar Transport’s ongoing strategy to invest in technology that delivers greater productivity and efficiency while improving the overall driver experience.
